An avid gardener, designer and writer for decades, Honey Sharp holds a Horticulture Degree from the Berkshire Botanical Garden. She received a BA from Sarah Lawrence College and a Masters Degree in Cultural Anthropology from Columbia University. Moving full-time to the Berkshires, she opened the Honey Sharp Gallery and the Ganesh Cafe in Lenox, MA. in the late 1970′s.
While raising three children, she wrote art reviews for the Berkshire Eagle; earned a Master Gardener degree; wrote Nomads Five, (a book about her family’s travels around the world); became the garden editor for Berkshire HomeStyle, and launched her garden design business in 2000. Her new blog, The 2200 Mile Garden, reflects her passion for multi-faceted gardens.
Seekonk Farm has been on numerous tours including the Lenox Garden Club, the Connecticut Horticultural Society and the Open Days Program of The Garden Conservancy.
